Job summary

EY’s Government Contract Services (GCS) team in the United States helps clients navigate the full government contracting lifecycle, from pursuit and pricing to audit readiness and settlements. The Manager will lead engagements, supervise teams, and develop actionable recommendations across pricing, cost accounting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, finance, business or related field.
• 5 to 8 years’ relevant work experience.
• Possess at least one professional designation (CPA, CFE, CFA).
• Knowledge of FAR, CAS, DFARS, 2 CFR 200 and related government contracting standards.
• Ability to develop technical responses to government audits and remediation.
• Experience in a client-facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage engagement teams 2–10 resources and to travel as needed.
• Willingness to travel and work longer hours when required.
• Access to reliable transportation; driver's license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements across the government contracting lifecycle, manage workstreams, and supervise teams.
• Analyze complex financial and operational data to develop practical recommendations for clients.
• Help clients assess compliance risks, respond to government audits, strengthen cost accounting systems and improve processes across pricing, billing and procurement.
