Job summary

Brain Co. is hiring a Sales Engineer to drive technical leadership in securing US government contracts. You will travel with GTM teams to federal, state, and local agencies, translating mission problems into credible AI solutions that close deals.

This role requires deep AI/ML systems knowledge, experience in security/compliance, and the ability to build compelling demos and proofs of concept for government customers. You’ll shape solution architectures and pilots across public sector endeavors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or similar technical role.
• Experience selling into US federal/state/local governments and knowledge of procurement/security frameworks.
• Technical depth to discuss AI/ML systems, APIs, data integration, and government cloud environments.
• Hands-on ability to stand up demos, scripts, or prototypes without delay.
• Ability to distill complex AI capabilities into clear mission value for executives.

Responsibilities

• Travel with GTM teams to agency sites across the US as technical lead.
• Conduct discovery with agency leaders to map mission workflows and data landscapes.
• Build and deliver demos, proofs of concept, and technical proposals tailored to agencies.
• Own the technical narrative through deal cycles including architecture, security, and data governance.
• Support capture with technical responses to RFIs/RFPs and architecture docs.
• Collaborate with Deployed Engineering to ensure pilots scale to production deployments.
• Provide market/ customer feedback to inform product and future opportunities.
