Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, focusing on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary goal is to meet or exceed annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. Key decision makers and influencers include Radiologists, Radiology and Women’s Healthcare Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Surgery Administrators. The role involves working across HCUS’s business areas to support existing and new initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction and territory coverage.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by calling on government hospitals and facilities, focusing on core products, installed base conversion, and new customer acquisition.
  • Develop and update strategic business plans for targeting government accounts.
  • Forecast accurately and close sales within assigned geography and accounts.
  • Expand existing business and prospect for new opportunities within the HCUS portfolio.
  • Participate in customer meetings and strategy sessions, leveraging specialists and sales team members for technical needs.
Customer Relations
  • Coordinate customer communication and provide market intelligence to optimize HCUS offerings.
  • Maintain effective communication between customers and internal departments to ensure sales success and positive customer experiences.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and site configurations adhering to policies.
  • Use CRM tools effectively to manage opportunities, contacts, and sales data.
  • Lead prospecting and closing efforts within the assigned geography and government accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Maintain communication across departments to facilitate sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in meetings and special projects to support sales initiatives and installations.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas and contribute to a positive customer experience.
  • Follow business processes, collaborate with teams, and communicate transparently.
Other Requirements
  • Comply with FDA, ISO standards, and other regulations.
  • Complete vendor credentialing and adhere to safety and vaccination policies, including COVID-19 related mandates.
Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum 4+ years in selling to Federal Government and medical imaging preferred.
  • Proven success in strategic selling and closing sales.
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
Skills and Other Requirements
  • Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools like Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage time effectively.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift, and perform tasks as described.
  • Travel up to 80% as needed.
