Job summary

American College of Cardiology Foundation in Washington, DC is seeking a Coordinator, Governance to support multiple committees within the Governance Office. You will schedule meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and manage deliverables, ensuring timely follow-ups.

You’ll develop and maintain documentation for the Awards Program, craft policies and procedures, and collaborate with communications to promote awards and governance processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including grammar and proofreading.
  • Ability to organize work, attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and MS Office.
  • Experience coordinating applications, nominations or awards processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to committees and aligned work groups within Governance Office.
  • Schedule meetings for members and internal staff.
  • Prepare, manage and distribute agendas and materials for meetings.
  • Capture minutes and action items clearly and accurately.
  • Coordinate and track deliverables to completion.
  • Maintain centralized documentation of the ACC Awards Program.
  • Develop and maintain policies for the Awards Program and awards.
  • Develop and manage timelines for various awards.
  • Collaborate with communications to support award/app goals.
  • Support application process for candidates for open committees/councils.
  • Learn and share policy and processes with staff and applicants.
  • Manage governance email inboxes and respond promptly.
  • Create/update Salesforce work groups and member records.
  • Develop and export reports from the committee portal or Salesforce.
  • Other duties as assigned.
