Job summary

Salesforce GovCloud is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our GovCloud team, maintaining 99.99% uptime for customer-facing services and driving incident response in a 24/7 environment. This role requires a successful background investigation and the ability to obtain U.S.

government clearances; shift work and on-call rotations are part of the job, with compensation adjustments for night shifts. You’ll collaborate with Global Solutions teams, implement RCAs, automate detection, and

Qualifications

U.S. citizen and able to obtain government clearance.
Related technical degree or equivalent.
Experience with enterprise-scale internet service operations or systems engineering.
Expertise in TCP/IP technologies and networking.
Unix/Linux administration proficiency.
Experience provisioning and running AWS-based infrastructure.
Proficient in Python or Go or similar languages.
Comfort with 24/7 on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Maintain system reliability and high performance across customer-facing services.
Lead incident response during major operational events and drive problem resolution.
Participate in RCAs and collaborate on preventative solutions.
Ensure SRE activities align with security standards and guidelines.
Mentor teammates and explore emerging technologies.
Collaborate to improve workflows and reduce toil.
Automate detection and resolution of recurring production issues.
Work with Global Solutions teams to implement preventive measures.
