Job summary

Salesforce is expanding its Government Cloud customer engineering team. As a Platform Technical Support Engineer, you will own mission-critical support cases, collaborate with Worldwide Support, R&D, and Support Operations, and provide coverage across shifts for global customers.

The role requires 3+ years in technical support, strong web/database knowledge, and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. In the United States, compensation considers location, level, and experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical support role.
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of management.
• Understanding of internet technologies (firewalls, web servers, proxies).
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, XML, SOAP web services.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned support cases end-to-end as a Salesforce platform expert.
• Troubleshoot issues across web tiers, databases, integrations, and Salesforce tech.
• Collaborate across Worldwide Support, R&D, and Support Operations to resolve high-severity cases.
• Provide shift-based coverage to support global customers.
