Royal Suites Healthcare in Galloway, NJ is seeking an experienced cook to manage the flow of food from delivery to service and to provide gourmet meals for residents. You will work closely with kitchen staff to prepare menu items and adhere to diets and production sheets.

The role requires teamwork, accuracy, and a strong understanding of food safety, sanitation and quality standards. Shifts run 12pm–8pm with a starting rate of $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional cook.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned task.
• Serv Safe certification or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Work as a team player in a professional kitchen.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow food service director directions.
• Understand production sheets and diets.
• Produce diet textures such as chop, ground and purees.
• Ensure food comes out in high quality, timely and coordinated.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
