Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions in New Jersey is seeking a talented Dietary Cook to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring nutrition and adherence to recipes.

The role requires classical training, experience in high-volume operations, attention to plating, sanitation, inventory management, and the ability to assist the Dietary Manager when needed. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a classically trained Cook with nursing facility experience.
• Experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Ability to lead when Dietary Manager is absent.
• Flexible to work every other weekend.
• Strong sanitation and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner per recipes.
• Plate and garnish dishes for attractive presentation.
• Support Dietary Manager during their absence to maintain meal prep.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation before and after service.
• Manage inventory, rotation, and assist with recipe development.
• Handle special event and catering requests as needed.
