Job summary

Royal Suites Healthcare is seeking an experienced cook for a healthcare facility in Galloway, NJ. You will handle the flow of food from delivery to service, preparing gourmet meals for residents while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires teamwork, knowledge of production sheets and diets, and the ability to produce texture-modified meals. Shift is 12pm-8pm with starting pay of $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional cook.
• Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned task.

Royal Suites Healthcare is looking for an experienced cook for a 186 bed Healthcare Facility in located in Galloway, NJ. We are looking for a professional cook to work with the flow of food from deliver to point of service. Cook duties will play a key role in providing gourmet meals to our loved residents.

Responsibilities:

• Have the ability to work as a team player in a professional manor.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow food service director.
• Able to understand production sheets and diets.
• Be able to produce diet textures such as chop, ground and purees.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
