Job summary

Royal Suites Healthcare is seeking an experienced cook for a healthcare facility in Galloway, NJ. You will handle the flow of food from delivery to service, preparing gourmet meals for residents while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires teamwork, knowledge of production sheets and diets, and the ability to produce texture-modified meals. Shift is 12pm-8pm with starting pay of $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional cook.
• Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned task.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team player in a professional kitchen environment.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow directions from the food service director.
• Understand production sheets and diets.
• Produce diet textures such as chopped, ground and pureed.
• Ensure food comes out at the right time and high quality.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
