Galloway Senior Living is seeking a Cook to support the delivery and execution of quality food service for residents and guests in a fast-paced senior living setting. The Cook reports to the Dining Director and adheres to health and safety standards while preparing ingredients and assisting with menu offerings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of cooking experience, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience as a cook preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Strong command of English for reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission and values of the organization.
• Prepares ingredients and handles kitchen tasks for shifts.
• Operates kitchen equipment and takes orders from wait staff.
• Cooks according to health and safety standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of workstations and utensils.
• Assists other cooks and team members as needed.
• Performs other duties consistent with the position.
