Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a results-driven Sales Consultant to grow revenue in the Northeast foodservice channel. You will cultivate new business, manage key accounts, and collaborate with chefs and retailers to tailor premium seafood, meat, and gourmet offerings.

Responsibilities include developing strategic sales plans, coordinating with product, logistics and finance teams, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside sales experience in perishable foods.
• 2–5 years of professional sales in the foodservice industry, or 5–7 years in chef/restaurant management.
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts preferred, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate new business opportunities through networking and consultative sales.
• Manage and expand existing accounts by building trust and providing customized product solutions.
• Collaborate with chefs, restaurant owners, and stakeholders to exceed expectations and align with business goals.
• Represent and promote premium seafood, meats, and gourmet products and stay informed on industry trends.
• Coordinate with Product, Purchasing and Operations to align inventory with customer demand and ensure timely deliveries.
