Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Sales Consultant to build profitable customer relationships through tailored solutions and exceptional service. You will work with chefs, restaurateurs, and retailers to grow revenue and gross profit via strategic alignment and expert product promotion.

You will collaborate with Product, Logistics, and Finance teams to optimize product mix, manage accounts, and ensure timely deliveries while delivering superior customer service and industry insights.

Qualifications

2+ years outside sales in perishable food products preferred.

Responsibilities

Cultivate new business opportunities through networking and consultative selling.
Manage and expand existing accounts by building trust and providing customized solutions.
Collaborate with chefs, restaurateurs, hospitality professionals and retailers to exceed expectations.
Represent and promote premium seafood, meat, poultry, and gourmet products; stay informed on industry trends.
Coordinate with Product, Purchasing and Operations to align inventory with demand and ensure timely delivery.
Work with Sales Director to develop pricing strategies tailored to customer needs.
Prepare proposals and maintain sales records; use CRM and trade directories for prospecting.
Act as trusted consultant, address inquiries and resolve issues with urgency and precision.
Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term partnerships.
