Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet in Missouri is seeking a Sales Consultant to build profitable customer relationships through tailored seafood and gourmet product solutions, collaborating with chefs, restaurateurs, and retailers to drive revenue and gross profit.

You will manage accounts, expand opportunities, and coordinate with product, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely deliveries, optimal pricing, and outstanding service.

Qualifications

2+ years outside sales experience in perishable food products; seafood experience preferred.
2–5 years of professional sales in the foodservice industry, or 5–7 years in chef/restaurant management.
Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts preferred, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Cultivate new business through networking and consultative sales; understand customer needs.
Manage and expand existing accounts by building trust and providing customized solutions.
Collaborate with chefs, restaurant owners and stakeholders to exceed expectations and goals.
Represent premium seafood and gourmet products; stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics.
Coordinate with Product, Purchasing and Operations to align inventory with demand and ensure timely deliveries.
