Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Sales Consultant in New Jersey to build strong, profitable relationships with chefs, restaurateurs, hospitality pros, and retailers. You will promote premium seafood and gourmet products, collaborate with product, logistics, and finance teams, and drive revenue through tailored solutions and exceptional service.

The role emphasizes developing strategic plans, managing accounts, and delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of outside sales in perishable foods.
2–5 years of professional foodservice sales experience.

Responsibilities

Cultivate new business opportunities through networking and consultative sales.
Manage and expand existing accounts with customized product solutions.
Collaborate with chefs, restaurant owners, and other stakeholders to exceed expectations.
Promote premium seafood and gourmet products and stay informed on market trends.
Partner with Product, Purchasing and Operations to align inventory with demand and ensure timely deliveries.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet targets and organize daily activities for follow-ups and deliveries.
Assist with pricing strategy in collaboration with senior staff and Sales Director.
Resolve customer inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
