Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party is seeking a GOTV Data Associate to join the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, supporting Talarico for Texas and statewide campaigns. You will handle day-to-day VAN data tasks, SQL queries, and dashboard reporting, while collaborating with the Data Team on data solutions.

This role begins ASAP and runs through November 15, 2026, offering benefits and union representation, with a focus on accurate data support for GOTV operations.

Qualifications

• No formal educational requirement; equivalent experience valued.
• Commitment to the Texas Democrats mission and values.
• Familiarity with campaign operations and the pace of campaigns.
• Strong task/time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot and explain technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets and user requests.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance.
• Perform data entry, reporting, and tasks in VAN accurately.
• Support geographies/districts; manage texting programs and VAN admin.
• Collaborate with the Data Team to resolve data/tech issues.
• Complete projects assigned by the GOTV Data & Analytics Director.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries as needed.
• Create/update dashboards using Google Data Studio / Looker.
• Use Google Sheets for GOTV reporting and analysis.
• Document recurring issues and communicate solutions clearly.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced campaign.
