Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party is seeking a GOTV Data Associate to join the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, supporting Talarico for Texas and Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. The Data Associate will provide day-to-day data and VAN support, troubleshoot user questions, and complete a variety of tasks within VAN, requiring strong attention to detail and a service‑oriented approach.

This position begins ASAP and ends November 15, 2026, with opportunities to contribute to data

Qualifications

• No formal education required; equivalent experience valued.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with electoral or advocacy campaigns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and respond to VAN support tickets and user requests.
• Troubleshoot VAN issues and provide technical assistance to staff.
• Data entry, reporting, and other VAN tasks.
• Support geography/district work, VAN administration, phone banks, and texting programs.
• Collaborate with the GOTV Data Team to identify and resolve data issues.
• Complete GOTV data projects as directed by leadership.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Google Data Studio.
• Use Google Sheets and data tools to support GOTV reporting and analysis.
• Document recurring issues and processes to improve support.
• Provide clear user support and translate technical issues into practical solutions.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced campaign environment.
• Perform other duties to support Texas Together’s GOTV program.
