Old Waverly Club in West Point, Mississippi seeks an experienced Golf Shop Retail Manager to oversee purchasing, merchandising, and staff leadership for a premier private golf destination.

The role focuses on delivering an exceptional member and guest retail experience, managing vendor relations, in-store displays, and seasonal retail planning to support profitability and club standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in retailing, including buying, display/merchandising, receiving, pricing, returns and inventory control.
• Experience in golf-related retail is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of purchasing, including vendor selection, quantities, and pricing.
• Ensure merchandise is neat, clean, and well-presented in the Golf shop.
• Manage retail staff: recruitment, scheduling, coaching, and discipline.
• Create annual Open-to-Buy plans with the Head Golf Professional.
