Job description

Colleton County Government is accepting applications for part-time Golf/Pro Shop Assistants with
the Recreation Department.

The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the golf
facility/course and pro shop, interacting with patrons and providing them excellent customer service
and satisfaction. The candidates will also be responsible for maintaining pro shop inventory, and
performing routine manual labor to include assisting with tournament set up, as well as routine
landscaping duties.

Requires previous cashier/cash handling experience, previous customer service experience at a
public facility, and previous golf playing experience. Requires the physical ability to lift 40 pounds
up to 50 times in a six hour period. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings
and weekends. Pre-employment drug screen and satisfactory background check are also required.
