A role in our golf shop is a great way to get started with LHR. In this role, you'll work face-to-face with guests to establish a positive rapport and provide excellent experiences from the first greeting, setting a positive tone for the golf experience. It is essential that we make golfers feel welcome, meet their needs, and resolve any questions or problems efficiently and appropriately.
The Shop Assistant is responsible for greeting customers as they sign in to play golf. The Shop Assistant will assist in opening and closing duties of the shop, provide outstanding customer service to all players, and manage a clean, accurate tee sheet and customer profile. Responsibilities include collecting green fees, seasonal dues, and maintaining the cleanliness, stock, and security of the shop.
Education/Credentials: High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Customer service and telephone experience; cash register familiarity; basic math skills; knowledge of golf rules; good grooming habits; ability to make change; positive attitude and professional demeanor; strong communication skills; ability to make every customer feel welcome.
