Job summary

The Great Outdoors Golf Club in Titusville, FL seeks a Golf Operations Manager to support the Head Golf Professional in all facets of daily operations, including golf shop, reservations, tournaments, and facility management. Your leadership will coordinate with the golf superintendent and department heads to optimize service, profitability, and the member experience.

You will oversee golf club operations, retail purchasing, customer databases, and staff development, while ensuring safety

Qualifications

Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, facility operations and tournament operations.
Fundamental supervisory practices and principles.
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
Experience with customer relationship management tactics and strategies.

Responsibilities

Oversee the golf reservation system, starting, monitoring, and pace of play.
Supervise and train all golf shop staff including Cart Attendants and Starter Staff to maximize sales opportunities.
Track and verify all members and guests, green fees, golf cars, club care, handicap fees, and other charges for accurate accounting.
Oversee golf cart fleet and coordinate with maintenance for upkeep and recordkeeping.
Develop and manage a tournament program, group outings and leagues for all customer segments.
Oversee operations of a well-managed practice facility.
Provide professional advice on golf equipment and ensure proper storage, safety, and cleaning of equipment.
