Job summary

PopStroke in Katy, Texas is seeking team members for guest service at our golf venue. You’ll welcome guests, explain the venue, and help guests with play, memberships, and questions in a fast‑paced setting.

This non‑exempt role requires strong communication and teamwork, weekend availability, and experience with POS systems. You’ll work indoors and outdoors, maintaining the shop and serving beverages and retail items to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service, retail, or hospitality experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Prior POS system experience preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Must have strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome our guests on arrival and acquaint them with property.
• Explain venue, check guests in, equip guests with tools to play, and answer questions.
• Serve beverages, beer, wine and ice cream at the golf counter; assist guests with retail purchases.
• Maintain the golf shop fully stocked.
• Remove trash, maintain organization of the golf shop and the golf courses.
• Ensure cleanliness of all golf courses and shop areas, including restrooms.
• Handle phone calls and inquiries regarding the venue, pricing, membership and other golf information.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Assist guests with play, course rules and the PopStroke app.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Other duties as assigned.
