Job summary

PopStroke in The Colony, TX is hiring for a Guest Service / Golf Shop Associate. This role is non-exempt with hourly pay plus tips. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins, assist with play, and support retail operations.

Ideal candidates have hospitality or retail experience in fast-paced settings, weekend/holiday availability, good communication, and teamwork. You will work indoors and outdoors and help maintain facilities and ensure a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume guest services preferred.
• Weekend/holiday availability required.
• POS system experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills required.
• Strong teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and acquaint them with property.
• Explain venue, check guests in, equip guests with tools to play, and answer questions.
• Serve beverages and assist guests with retail purchases.
• Maintain the golf shop fully stocked.
• Remove trash and maintain organization of the golf shop and courses.
• Ensure cleanliness of golf courses and shop areas, including restrooms.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries professionally.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, balance cash drawers, and use POS securely.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Assist guests with play, course rules and the PopStroke app.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Other duties as assigned.
