Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Golf Specialist to provide personalized service and expert product recommendations in-store. You’ll engage athletes, drive sales, and contribute to an elevated customer experience through deep knowledge of golf products and active listening.

You will participate in training, help onboard teammates, and ensure merchandise presentation aligns with brand standards in a dynamic sporting goods environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by engaging athletes to understand shopping needs and provide knowledgeable product information.
• Assists onboarding and training of new team members as subject matter expert for store processes.
• Maintains athlete-first mindset and ensures products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged as desired.
• Follows merchandising standards, floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promotes customer participation in company programs and loyalty initiatives.
• Creates an inclusive store environment and adheres to safety, loss prevention, and policies.
