DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist - Golf to provide personalized service and expert product knowledge to athletes in our store. You will engage customers, drive sales, and help create an elevated shopping experience focused on golf equipment and apparel.

The role emphasizes onboarding peers, maintaining store standards, and participating in loyalty and warranty programs, all while upholding safety and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert in their area of the store.
• Demonstrates efficiency and accuracy in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset and ensuring products are ready for purchase.
• Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promotes customer participation in programs (loyalty, warranties, private label credit card enrollment).
• Creates an inclusive store environment, adhering to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs, and complying with laws and guidelines.
