Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods store teammates are passionate about delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and help them find the right products while upholding merchandising standards.

You will promote loyalty programs, warranty options, and credit card enrollment. Candidates with retail experience and golf knowledge are preferred; you should be able to stand, move, and lift up to 35 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
• Support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs.
• Follow floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation standards.
• Promote loyalty programs, warranty sales, and credit card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and confidentiality policies.
