Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a store teammate to greet customers, understand their needs, and help them find the right products. You will help maintain merchandising standards, promote loyalty programs, and support the team to create an inclusive, welcoming store environment.

The role involves lifting up to 35 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing occasional repetitive tasks. Prior retail and golf-industry experience are preferred, with a focus on safety and excellent customer

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOPs; protect confidential information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome.
• Support team across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
