Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel in Morton, MN is seeking a part-time line cook to work at the Wabasha Creek kitchen. You will rotate through all stations, open or close the kitchen, and ensure safety and cleanliness while maintaining portion control.

• Salary Range: $21.50 - $42.78 hourly
• Job Shift: Varies (+Weekends)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Competently work all stations in the Wabasha Creek kitchen.
• Open and/or close the kitchen.
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the kitchen area.
• Maintain portion control in all applicable areas.
• Take direction from the Wabasha Creek Manager, Supervisor and Lead Cook
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in line cooking at a full-service restaurant preferred.

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes

• Culinary skills, including frying, sautéing, broiling, basting, baking, poaching and roasting.
• High level of skill at all cooking stations.
• Knowledge and utilization of proper sanitation practices.
• Strong knife skills.
