RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer for an on-site role in Tucson, AZ. You will evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms and flight software within a multidisciplinary team to meet performance requirements.

The position involves developing and testing embedded missile flight code, performing system studies, and guiding agile backlogs. A STEM degree with 2+ years of experience and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented programming.
• GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling / Simulation experience.
• Experience with system applications including control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, Monte Carlo analysis, and GPS/INS navigation.

Responsabilités

• Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code.
• Definition and execution of system level performance studies and analyses to inform development and integration of new capabilities.
• Work within an agile framework to lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics.
• Provide guidance to help the program train new engineers and execute efficiently and effectively.
• Support missile performance analysis including model development, system optimization, and Monte Carlo assessments with disturbances.
