RTX's Effectors PG&C Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer to help design, implement, and integrate embedded software for missile systems. You will work in an integrated product team performing 6-DoF simulations, flight software, and real‑time analyses to meet performance goals.

The role requires a degree in a STEM field, 2+ years of relevant experience, MATLAB/Python/C/C++, and the ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance with U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with embedded software, modeling and simulation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code.
• Definition and execution of system level performance studies and analyses to inform development and integration of new capabilities.
• Work within an agile framework to lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics.
• Provide experience and guidance to help the program train new engineers and execute efficiently and effectively.
• Support missile performance analysis including model development, system optimization, and Monte Carlo assessments with expected system disturbances.
