RTX's Effectors PG&C Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Systems Engineer II - Guidance, Navigation, and Control to help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for missile programs and 6-DoF simulations, with an onsite role in Tucson. The role collaborates with an integrated product team to deliver tactical flight software and sensors, requiring experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S.

government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
• GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling / Simulation experience
• Engineering experience in system applications including digital/modern control, dynamics, Kalman filter design, Monte Carlo analysis, simulation of physical systems, signal processing, verification and validation, system-level performance assessments, GPS/INS navigation systems, APNT sensors/algorithms
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented programming
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government security clearance; US citizenship required

Responsabilités

• Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code
• Definition and execution of system-level performance studies and analyses
• Work within an agile framework to lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics
• Provide guidance to help the program train new engineers and execute efficiently
• Support missile performance analysis including model development, system optimization, and Monte Carlo assessments
