RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer to join the Effectors PG&C Center. You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for 6-DOF simulations and flight software.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 2+ years of GNC, signal processing, or modeling/simulation experience and are proficient in MATLAB, Python, C/C++.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with GNC, signal processing, or modeling/simulation.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and OO programming.

Responsabilités

• Develop, integrate, and test embedded missile flight code.
• Perform system-level performance studies and analyses to inform development and integration of new capabilities or obsolescence.
• Lead backlog planning and metrics within an agile framework.
• Mentor and train engineers to execute efficiently and effectively.
• Support missile performance analysis including Monte Carlo assessments.
