Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. seeks a GNC engineer to design and implement guidance, navigation and control architectures in an embedded C++ environment.

You will define requirements for ADCS hardware and software, supporting current missions and future roadmaps for customer opportunities. Responsibilities include GNC analysis and simulation, offline geolocation processing collaboration, and planning and validating HW/SW-in-the-loop tests.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent + 2–3 years of professional GNC exp.
• Multiple years of hands-on GNC analysis and design experience.
• Proficient in C++ for embedded environments.
• ADCS for precision pointing platforms; spacecraft flight ops experience.
• US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GNC architectures and algorithms in embedded C++.
• Define ADCS requirements for existing missions and roadmaps.
• Analyze and simulate mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Plan, execute, and validate software- and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
