Job summary

Prismhr Hire seeks a Facilities Supervisor in Virginia to oversee the safe, compliant operation and maintenance of biotech site facilities. You will coordinate with Engineering, QA, Production, Validation, EHS, and others to maintain a reliable manufacturing environment and minimize interruptions.

The role requires GMP-aware leadership, CMMS proficiency, and strong contractor coordination to ensure preventive maintenance, upgrades, and capital projects are completed on time and in compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4+ years facilities/maintenance in biotech/pharma.
• 10+ years in lieu of degree may be considered.
• GMP knowledge in regulated manufacturing is preferred.
• 3+ years supervising facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and operation of site buildings and equipment.
• Coordinate building repairs and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure GMP compliance and safety of facilities.
• Manage CMMS work orders and documentation.
• Coordinate with QA, Validation, and Production on maintenance activities.
