Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support a new Manufacturing Facility in Goochland County, Virginia. The role focuses on maintaining the IFM contract, overseeing external contractors, and leading facility maintenance initiatives to ensure GMP-compliant operations.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in facility or maintenance engineering, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Facility or Maintenance Engineering Teams, preferably in a manufacturing GMP environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas.
• LEED Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The maintenance element of the Integrated Facility Management (IFM) contract for facility management and maintenance service.
• Managing external contractors involved in maintenance of facilities to ensure quality of work and regulatory compliance.
• Providing key expertise and technical leadership in facility maintenance.
• Developing technical systems, processes and best practices for the facility management program.
• Developing, issuing and maintaining key performance metrics for the facilities services.
• Review inspections of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design capabilities.
