Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Program Administrator for Graduate Medical Education to support residency and fellowship training programs onsite. You will help manage daily operations, recruitment, onboarding and accreditation activities to ensure a high-quality educational environment.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in healthcare education and familiarity with ACGME requirements are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a healthcare setting (preferably Graduate Medical Education or education) preferred.
• TAGME certification highly regarded.
• Knowledge of Residency Management Systems (MedHub or New Innovations) preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF software, online meeting platforms, email and other forms of electronic communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of one or more residency or fellowship training programs.
• Coordinate and organize program recruitment efforts and the NRMP process.
• Understand accreditation requirements and assist in ensuring compliance.
• Prepare and maintain program/resident documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes.
• Serve as resident/fellow liaison to assure a positive educational experience.
• Coordinate events and processes including curricular activities, graduation, and site visits.
