Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a GME Program Coordinator to oversee and administer our accredited residency and fellowship programs in a leadership capacity. You will coordinate educational activities, evaluations, and accreditation processes, while supporting residents, fellows, faculty and staff within the GME Office.

Under the Program Director, you will help manage recruitment, program quality improvement projects, and adherence to ACGME/NRMP policies. Hybrid work and standard daytime hours apply.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and personnel management required.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Familiarity with ACGME, NRMP policies and hospital regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead administrative person for the GME residency/fellowship program.
• Assist the GME Program Director in design, implementation and management of administrative operations.
• Coordinate educational activities that support the program’s curriculum and adhere to ACGME requirements.
• Design, deliver, and report timely completion of resident/fellow, faculty, and program evaluations.
• Coordinate accreditation activities including ACGME Site Visits and Self-Studies.
• Assist with resident/fellow recruitment and appointment processes.
