Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a Program Administrator for Graduate Medical Education (GME) in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This role leads the GME residency/fellowship program, coordinates activities, and ensures compliance with accreditation standards.

You will manage schedules, evaluations, and communications, advise on policies, and partner with faculty and external offices to support resident education and professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent
• TAGME certification preferred but not required
• With a Bachelor's degree, no experience required.
• With an Associate's degree, four (4) years of administrative/program coordinator experience required.
• With a high school diploma, six (6) years of administrative/program coordinator experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead administrative person for the GME residency/fellowship program and oversee daily operations.
• Coordinate educational activities (e.g., conferences) and advise on program policies.
• Manage the Residency Management System including demographics, schedules, and reports.
• Develop program evaluations and ensure competency-based language in reports.
• Coordinate accreditation activities including Site Visits, Self-Studies, and Internal Reviews.
