Job summary

West Anaheim Medical Center in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage the operational functions of accredited GME training programs under the Program Director's guidance.

Responsibilities include maintaining accreditation, recruiting trainees, managing projects and databases, and communicating with faculty and trainees on a wide range of issues while handling confidential information with care.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of GME and/or UME experience preferred.
• ACGME experience preferred.
• TAGME certification encouraged but not required.
• Experience with New Innovations, ERAS preferred.
• Associates degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or education setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize information
• Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational functions of accredited GME training programs under the Program Director.
• Maintain continuing accreditation, recruit trainees, projects, analyzing and maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues.
• Manage internal and external program relations.
• Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and GME databases.
