Job summary

The HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Administrator is responsible for supporting the administrative, operational and financial management functions of the residency/fellowship program on-site at the hospital.

You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, budgeting, and accreditation activities, acting as a liaison for residents and faculty to ensure a high-quality, compliant educational experience within a patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with healthcare or education focus.
• 3+ years in healthcare education or related education field.
• TAGME certification highly regarded.
• Familiarity with residency management systems (MedHub/New Innovations).
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of residency or fellowship programs.
• Coordinate recruitment and NRMP processes.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements for residents and faculty.
• Prepare and maintain program documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes.
• Serve as liaison to trainees to ensure a positive educational experience.
• Monitor events, budgeting, and program updates including ACGME site visits.
• Support education design and leadership of the residency program.
