Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Administrator to support administrative, operational and financial management of residency/fellowship programs onsite at the hospital.

The role requires knowledge of ACGME requirements, strong initiative, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with independence while fostering a positive educational environment for residents and faculty.

Qualifications

• Manage the day-to-day operations of residency/fellowship training programs.
• Coordinate program recruitment efforts, including NRMP processes.
• Understand accreditation requirements and ensure compliance.
• Prepare and maintain required program/resident documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes.
• Serve as liaison to ensure a positive educational experience.
• Coordinate events, budgets, and program updates including site visits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for one or more residency/fellowship programs.
• Support recruitment and NRMP activities and timelines.
• Maintain compliance with ACGME requirements and accreditation standards.
• Prepare documentation and manage onboarding for residents and faculty.
• Communicate with faculty, residents, and stakeholders on program matters.
