Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Graduate Medical Education Program Administrator to support administrative, operational and financial management of residency/fellowship programs. The role is onsite at the hospital and requires knowledge of ACGME policies and independent judgment.

You will assist GME leaders in creating an optimal learning environment for trainees, manage recruitment, onboarding, and program updates, and serve as a liaison for residents and faculty across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• TAGME certification highly regarded.
• Knowledge of Residency Management Systems (MedHub or New Innovations).
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF software, online meeting platforms, email.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of one or more residency or fellowship training programs.
• Coordinate and organize program recruitment efforts and the NRMP process.
• Understand program accreditation requirements and assist in ensuring compliance.
• Prepare and maintain all required program/resident documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes.
• Serve as the resident/fellow liaison to ensure a positive educational experience.
• Coordinate events and program updates including accreditation site visits.
