Job summary

Target Corp in Silver Spring, MD is hiring a General Merchandise Team Leader to guide daily store operations and lead a team of hourly associates. You will prioritize guest experience, manage workload, and ensure shelves are stocked, priced, and signed to support sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Age 18 or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experiences by assisting guests and team members with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Lead and develop hourly team members, including coaching and training.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to meet store priorities and sales goals.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure in-stock, accurately priced, and properly signed merchandise.
• Assist with pick/pack/shipping fulfillment as needed and support store safety and policies.
