Job summary

Target Corp is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader to manage daily operations on the sales floor and backroom. You will lead a team of hourly associates, prioritize tasks, and ensure a guest-first experience while driving sales and efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and a focus on process improvements. You will coordinate merchandising, pricing, stock levels and signage, while supporting fulfillment activities and ensuring compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent guest service and driving team performance.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate hourly team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Target's guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly visit.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to meet department and store goals with guidance from your leader.
• Coach and train hourly team members to build a capable, high-performing team.
• Ensure products are in stock, accurately priced and clearly signed on the sales floor.
• Oversee pick, pack and ship fulfillment when applicable and monitor related reports.
