Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader to deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage a team, and uphold store standards. You will oversee daily tasks, stock, pricing, and merchandising while guiding hourly team members to meet sales goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, operational efficiency, and a guest-first culture, with opportunities for development and cross-team collaboration within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a variable work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, closing shifts and other peak shopping times)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure product is in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and achieve sales goals with guidance from your direct leader.
• Collaborate with all teams to identify priorities and ensure the store is guest ready in alignment with leadership directions.
