Job summary

Vanguard GMC of Sherman in Sherman, TX is seeking an experienced GM technician to join our busy service department. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain GM vehicles with focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• GM or ASE Certification.
• At least 3 years of GM technician experience.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed services.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities
