Job summary

Vanguard Auto Group in Texas is seeking a skilled automotive technician to inspect, service, and repair vehicles at our Austin area stores. You will perform inspections, replace fluids and filters, and ensure vehicles meet factory specifications.

We offer weekly pay, company-paid health and life insurance, dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and paid holidays & paid time off. A reliable commute, a clean driving record, and ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Vehicle service and repair experience required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections.
• Change oils, air and cabin filters, wiper blades, belts and flush fluids when necessary.
• Inspect, replace, and repair vehicle mechanical and electrical components.
• Rotate and balance tires, alignments, replace brake pads, shocks and struts.
• Prepare vehicles mechanically to make ready for sell.
• Bring vehicles within factory specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
