Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead safety initiatives and drive the Global WHS Program implementation across our sites. You will conduct risk assessments, analyze data, and collaborate with Operations leadership to protect associates while maintaining productivity.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence safety culture. Travel 50-70% and work varying shifts are expected throughout the program rollout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global WHS Program implementation and act as safety champion.
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze safety data to implement practical solutions.
• Perform site audits and analyze incident trends to target improvements.
• Manage first aid and emergency response capabilities at the site.
• Travel 50-70% of the time and work varying shifts.
