Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a water treatment and sustainability engineer to influence design for our global data center fleet.

You will lead water treatment features, coordinate with design engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance, and ensure protection of people and data over the life of the building. You will develop detailed water treatment designs, work with internal and external stakeholders, and help improve design standards while traveling as needed to project

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers
• 4+ years of commissioning experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment and facilities

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee project-related work, including water supply analysis and design for buildings
• Coordinate with utilities and internal water teams to establish basic site infrastructure requirements
• Provide detailed construction specifications for water treatment systems
• Prepare detailed designs for water treatment and sustainability systems
• Coordinate with design disciplines to meet code requirements and AHJ approvals
• Possibly oversee and review work or perform it directly
