Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a water treatment engineer to influence water chemistry, treatment, and sustainability across our global data centers.

You will work with design engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance to define, design, and document water features for on-site and campus-scale systems. You will prepare detailed designs for water treatment and sustainability, coordinate with AHJs and internal teams, and ensure facilities meet code requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement of design standards and project approaches across the organization
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams to answer requests for information and value engineering queries
• Provide high quality water treatment advice on projects globally with engineering teams for alignment of objectives
• Ensure code compliance, design and installation standards, water supply evaluation and assessment, testing, inspections, and submittal review
